ToolBank membership grants your organization
access to these services:
The ToolBank tool inventory: The massive volume and variety of the ToolBank tools available for borrowing empowers your organization to perform larger projects, more frequent projects, and a far wider range of project types. Thousands of tools ranging from power tools, ladders, hand tools, specialty tools, landscaping and painting tools are available to dramatically increase the impact of your volunteer, facility, and staff service projects - while reducing costs.

Rescue and Reuse: A constantly changing cache of materials complements the ToolBank tool inventory, allowing your agency to acquire critical materials at a fraction of their actual cost. Typical items include building materials, cleaning supplies, hardware, and paint, allowing your organization to take advantage of bulk donations to the ToolBank. The Power Shots bi-weekly email informs you of newly arriving Rescue and Reuse materials.
Online Resources: The ToolBank puts its powerful website to work for you. In the new Solve It! technical assistance forum, ToolBank staff will answer your technical questions about tools, materials, paint, construction, and you can search the Solve It! forum for answers as well. You may also take part in discussions with your peer member agencies in the general discussion forums. New resources will be added soon - watch for them!
Power Tools bi-weekly newsletter: As a member agency, you'll receive Power Tools every other week, full of stories on creative uses of ToolBank resources, funding opportunities, and news you need to know about Atlanta's nonprofit sector.

The ToolBank serves you with these values:
Superior Customer Service. The ToolBank has built nearly two decades of success on a commitment to treating every organization with best-in-class customer service. ToolBank board and staff understand our responsibility as a community resource, and tailor our programs to meet the mission-oriented demands of Atlanta’s charitable organizations. This means adding requested tools, keeping the inventory in excellent condition, and providing you with solid technical assistance to help your projects succeed - every single time you interact with the ToolBank.
Professional Accuracy. With ongoing employee training and software improvements, the ToolBank strives for 100% accuracy and a hassle-free transaction. When you order tools, your order will be pulled exactly as you requested, and ready to load in your vehicle when you arrive.
A commitment to your needs and expectations. ToolBank membership and tool borrowing is not free: nominal fees maintain ToolBank operation and encourage an 'investor' sentiment among our member agencies. At the same time, ToolBank fees are deliberately very low, and handling fees are reduced whenever possible, to relieve the financial burden from our nonprofit partners. Borrowers can expect to see this commitment throughout the life of their membership at the ToolBank.
