Grainger features ToolBank as their Charity of Choice for the NYSE Global Giving Campaign during the Holiday Season
ToolBank USA is honored to be a part of this year’s New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Global Giving campaign thanks to our corporate partners at Grainger (NYSE: GWW). The NYSE hosted its 100th Annual Tree Lighting on Thursday, November 30th. The Global Giving campaign enables NYSE-listed companies to share their efforts by helping those in need and raising awareness for the many important organizations they support throughout the year. Over 200 companies participated this year and were recognized with a commemorative custom ornaments that will hang on the NYSE tree this holiday season. Grainger will have their ornament feature ToolBank USA.
Grainger is a proud partner with ToolBank USA to provide support following emergency situations. This past fall, #TeamGrainger volunteers packaged over 4,000 disaster relief buckets filled with a hammer, pliers, cleaning supplies, trash bags, scrubbing brush and pads, detergent, clothesline, clothespin, work gloves…and a personalized hand-written note to give survivors of the disaster a little hope. The buckets were estimated to have over $125 worth of supplies in them.
“When a disaster strikes almost anywhere in the U.S., ToolBank will be prepared to deliver these buckets to individuals and families to help them start to put their homes and lives back together,” said D.G. ToolBank USA has been distributing these kits nationwide to individuals impacted by wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and those in critical areas to aid in disaster preparedness during other natural disasters.
