AmeriCorps Week 2024 is March 10-16, 2024
The ToolBank network is proud to partner with AmeriCorps during this year’s AmeriCorps Week. AmeriCorps Week recognizes the commitment of the millions of Americans who have chosen to serve their country through AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps Seniors and encourage others to follow in their footsteps of service.
The second full week of March, the country recognizes and gives thanks to those members and volunteers who raise their hands to help when the need arises. They are often the first on the ground and last to leave—making sure to leave their projects better than they found them.
Participating ToolBanks
BALTIMORE TOOLBANK
Project Dates and Times:
Saturday 3/16/24 from 10am – 1pm
Potential Projects
- Seasonal rain garden maintenance
- Inventory repair and maintenance
- All training provided; no prior experience necessary
- Warehouse organization
Details
- Maximum 20 volunteers
- All volunteers should be 12 years and older. If under 18, volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Virtual volunteer waivers will be shared with all volunteers via email in advance.
- We welcome volunteers of all abilities. Light duty projects will be made available.
CHARLOTTE TOOLBANK
Project Dates and Times:
Monday 3/11/24 NOON to 4pm. Lunch & connecting from noon to 1pm. Lunch will be provided.
Potential Projects
- Processing returns
- Preparing orders
- Warehouse task & organization
Details
- Maximum 25 volunteers
- All volunteers should be 18 years or older
CINCINNATI TOOLBANK
Project Dates and Times:
Monday – Friday 3/11/24 through 3/15/24 between 9am – 3pm (2 hour minimum between these times)

- Inventory prep and maintenance
Details
- All volunteers should be 18 years or older
HOUSTON TOOLBANK
Project Dates and Times:
Wednesday 3/13/24 from 9am – NOON
Potential Projects
- Warehouse and inventory management
Details
- Maximum 30 volunteers
- All volunteers should be 16 years and older. If under 18, volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
PHOENIX TOOLBANK
Project Dates and Times:
Friday 3/15/24 from 10am – NOON
Potential Projects
- Warehouse organizing and order processing
Details
- Maximum 20 volunteers
- All volunteers should be 16 years and older. If under 18, volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
RICHMOND TOOLBANK
Project Dates and Times:
Wednesday 3/13/24 from 9am – NOON
Potential Projects
- Order processing
- Cleaning/branding/sharpening tools
- General tool maintenance
- Warehouse and inventory organization
Details
- Maximum 40 volunteers
- All volunteers should be 12 years and older. If under 18, volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
